Once the production audio has reached the hands of post-production, there is a new objective: Creating a product that is simultaneously enhanced and seamless to a point of invisibility. It requires the marriage of technical skill and artful invention to drive the product towards the level of expected quality. EQ’ing, compressing, bussing, automation. The nitty gritty. These are the soap, brush, and polish to make that audio sparkly clean.
